Vaccinations for the family

FAQ:

Are vaccinations safe:
Yes, those which are FDA approved and admitted into Singapore by the Health Science Authority are very safe for use as vaccines.

Who are not suitable for vaccinations:
Generally pregnant women, patients with a history of vaccine allergy, people who are having active febrile illness and infectious diseases are not suitable for vaccinations.

How soon can we receive different vaccines?
Generally one month interval is needed for different vaccines to be injected to allow maximum effect of each vaccine. However some vaccines can be given together at the same time but not in the same syringe unless previously mixed by the vaccine maker.

I forgot to go for my Hepatitis B third dose? What should I do:
This will depend on how far apart the dose is from the last one. Please see your doctor to confirm whether you can continue with your vaccination regime.
